Radio Silence is a tiny firewall that lets you block any application from accessing the internet. It is designed for people who are not interested in configuring traditional firewalls. Radio Silence supports OS X Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Lion, and Snow Leopard. It only takes a few seconds to install.
Radio Silence lets you keep a list of apps that aren't allowed to go online.
I believe it worth some money.. Especially if you are paranoid person.

Little Snitch is a popular Mac app that detects outbound connections and lets you set up rules to block those connections. Once installed, Little Snitch monitors your internet traffic and every time it detects an outbound connection, for example, Adobe Reader trying to access the internet, it pops up a window and ask you if you want to allow the connection one time, or make a rule to allow Adobe Reader to access the Internet but just not go to
> Runs on OS X Yosemite (10.10) and later, including macOS Sierra (10.12).
By default, EXE files won’t run on a Mac. The booby-trapped Little Snitch installer worked around this limitation by bundling the EXE file with a free framework known as Mono. Mono allows Windows executables to run on MacOS, Android, and a variety of other operating systems. It also provided the DLL mapping and other support required for the hidden EXE to execute and install the hidden payload. Interestingly, the researchers couldn’t get the same EXE to run on Windows.
